The New Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to the Republic of Korea presents his Letter of Credence to the President of the Republic of Korea

His Excellency Hassan Sobir presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Yoon Suk Yeol, President of the Republic of Korea, as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Republic of Korea at a ceremony held yesterday afternoon at the Yongsan Presidential Office in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Hassan Sobir conveyed greetings from His Excellency, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the people of Maldives to the President and the People of the Republic of Korea. Ambassador Sobir further expressed commitment to work closely with the Government of the Republic of Korea during his tenure with a renewed focus on enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During his visit to the Republic of Korea, Ambassador Hassan Sobir also met with senior government officials of the Republic of Korea to discuss further on exploring opportunities and enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Sobir was accompanied by Mr. Shafraz Rasheed, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Japan.
