The Malé Seawall Construction Project was completed during the early 1990’s in four different phases and is the biggest project ever carried out by the Government of Japan under its Grant Aid Scheme. The Seawall Tetrapod Monument which is located in the South-East Side of Male’, is a token of friendship and cooperation between Maldives and Japan.
