The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has successfully concluded the 4th Round of Japan-Maldives Policy Dialogue, which was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

The Government of Japan has provided a grant aid of 117 Million Japanese Yen (approximately USD 865,000) to the Maldives for the continuation of scholarships opportunities to be offered by the Government of Japan for the fiscal year 2023, under the Japanese Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS). The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel and the Ambassador of Japan to the Maldives Her Excellency Takeuchi Midori signed the Exchange of Notes today, at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
